Welcome to the Temecula Youth Basketball Leagues 2010-2011 season!

My name is Jeff Pack and I am honored to serve as President of the TYBL Board of Directors for a second year. I also serve as Co-Commissioner with Tracy Crockett for the Middle School Basketball League. Previously, I had coached more than 10 seasons of TYBL and Middle School Basketball as well as coaching for three years at Great Oak High School with the girls program.

I am greatly looking forward to the upcoming season ahead of us. We made a few adjustments last season that we think made the league more enjoyable for everyone and we will continue to work to make TYBL one of the best youth basketball developmental leagues in the nation. Last season we changed the player placement process and saw some fantastic results. We also started our All-Star program and have a good base to continue to develop that aspect of our league.

Our focus for this season is fine-tuning the developmental side of youth basketball and working on ways to help our kids learn the game the right way. You will see some of those changes right away. We will be instituting a player development rubrik to help coaches and players understand the skills players should be learning during the upcoming season. We will be hosting player, coach and team clinics prior to the season to be sure that those skills are being taught the correct way.

As always, we are looking for input from our players, coaches and parents to help guide us along the way. Also, we are always looking for people interested in coaching, volunteering and serving on the board.
